Stephen Mckears, a man from Severn Beach, South Gloucestershire, was intrigued when he noticed that items were mysteriously moving in his shed at night.
At first, he started seeing that plastic clips were being placed in a tub that he uses to feed birds, but started realizing that there were other objects moving.

“I Thought I Was Going Mad”
In fact, every night for an entire month, he was finding large screws, nuts, bolts, plastic bits, and other objects all tidied up. To see what would happen, he says he dumped a tub of objects out, spreading the objects out to the side. The next day, all of the objects were back in the tub again.
With no indication on who–or what–was doing the sorting, he started thinking it might be a ghost. “I thought I was going mad,” Stephen said.
So Who Was Doing It?
To find out, Stephen called up his neighbor, Rodney Holbrook, to help him get to the bottom of it. Rodney, a keen wildlife photographer, rigged up a camera to find out who was doing the tidying in the middle of the night.

One of Cinderella’s Sidekicks
Apparently, Cinderella lost one of her mice! The men were amazed when the camera’s footage showed a tiny, cute little mouse arranging items in the shed, and even attempting to lift objects that were twice his size.
The mouse started around midnight, and continued to move things until around 2:30am. That’s a busy mouse! And according to Stephen, the mouse is still at it every night. What do you think this little guy is doing all of this for?

After this story was posted on Twitter, some users have come up with their own theories about why this mouse is so concerned with cleaning up, and others are just chiming in that they need their own!
